A Personalized Gift for your Pet + Homemade Dog Treats

I have a 3-year-old Basset Hound named Walter. He has been featured in a couple of social media posts, just hamming it up for the camera. Around our house we call him Walt. Even our 10-month-old daughter yells out, “Wauullltt!” when he trots into a room. There are times when Walt drives me nuts (like really nuts!), but then he flashes those big sad Basset Hound eyes at me and I just fall in love with him all over again. To the world he is “just a dog,” but to us, he’s more than that … he is family.

Walter is wearing a Bronner's dog scarf (SKU#1193338), comes in different sizes and is sold in-stores only for $6.99.

Whether you own a dog, cat, fish, you name it … pets become a huge part of our lives. That’s why it’s always nice to celebrate your love for them with something personal. Even though I work at Bronner’s, every year I still come to visit with my family, pick out an ornament for us and, of course, something special for Walt. Bronner’s has a variety of memorable gifts, making it easy for us to find the perfect thing for him. We couldn’t pass up this treat jar (although it’s debatable if he is on the nice list, LOL) and of course a Basset Hound ornament.

Treat jar (SKU#1198837) is sold only in-stores for $18.99 and can be ordered through our customer service department at 800.361.6736 or customerservice@bronners.com.

Dog lover like me? We have a wide selection of dog ornaments. If you want a specific dog-breed ornament, we have over 25 different I love my Dog Breed ornaments that can be personalized with your favorite buddy’s name!

We can’t forget about our cat lovers! We carry three different personalized cat face ornaments that can be painted with your cat’s name, making it the perfect addition to your Christmas tree.

On top of all the ornaments we have gotten Walt, he also has his very own personalized stocking that we hang every year on our mantel. We like to stuff it full of toys and treats.

One of his favorite treats that will go in his stocking this year are the homemade dog treats from Bronner’s Flavorful Favorites Cookbook Volume 2. Learn how to make these delicious treats for your loved one below!

I have two VERY old Chihuahuas (and by old, I mean grumpy!) and a 2-year-old Doberman puppy named Rosie. Just wanted to say that I love the picture of Walt! My very good friend is the director of Spokane Basset Rescue here in Spokane, Washington, so anything bassett makes me think of her! Love the recipe, I will be making this for my three fur babes :-)
