Is there anything better than snuggling up in your favorite pair of pajamas, the comforting scent of warming cinnamon wafting through the air on a cold winter’s morning?!
We didn’t think so either, so that’s why we’re sharing an EASY recipe for delicious cinnamon rolls with you!
Ok, so before we get to the cinnamon rolls – you should know that we really wish you could feel just how soft these “Tree Glee” lounge pants are! Arguably as enchanting as the fragrant aroma of cinnamon and sugar permeating the atmosphere is waking up in pj’s as soft as a cloud! You’ll never want to take these off! Seriously, you’ll instantly MELT in to them just like our cinnamon rolls will melt in your mouth!

… my father-in-law often says. And I feel like that’s what this simple recipe enables one to do!
Making cinnamon rolls from scratch can be really rewarding, but if we’re being honest, taking the easier route to have the extra time to cherish being with family and friends is the clear winner! Especially if cinnamon rolls are a part of your Christmas morning breakfast tradition.
So work a little less and enjoy a lot more!
EASY CINNAMON ROLLS
– 1 loaf frozen bread, thawed and raised
– ¼ cup cinnamon
– 1 cup packed brown sugar
– chopped walnuts
– 1 stick butter, melted
– ½ cup powdered sugar
– drop of vanilla
– drop of water
1. Heat oven to 350°.
2. Pour some of the melted butter into a round or square cake pan. Add some brown sugar, cinnamon and walnuts to cover the bottom of the pan.
3. Dust countertop with flour.
4. Punch down raised bread dough and put in floured countertop.
5.Sprinkle additional flour over bread dough. Knead for 5 minutes.
6. Roll our dough into a rectangle.
7. Spread remaining butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and walnuts over flattened dough. (We added the rest of the melted butter as well.)
8. Roll up lengthwise and cut into 1-inch slices.
9. Lay slices in buttery mixture in the prepared pan.
10. Put in a warm place until the dough doubles in size.
11. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
12. Let pan cool on wire rack for 5 minutes, then invert onto a plate.
13. Eat plain or frost with glaze.

RECIPE VARIATION: To make more of a frosting than glaze, add in (room-temperature) butter. Use almond extract in place of vanilla and milk in place of water until you get your desired consistency.
